Hi all,
Really hit a brick wall with this so I hope someone can help.
Just received delivery of a new Mackie external audio mixer which includes an internal firewire audio interface. System works fine when tested on 10.3.9 but in my version of 10.3.5 on my PB, the mixer is not recognised in the Audio/Midi utility (i.e. no further channels available). It is, however recognised, by name, within the system profiler under the firewire section.
The disk I got with the package does also not load so my initial views are that this does not run on 10.3.5 (unlike stated on the box and in all advertising:-(). Both my retailer and Mackie tech support are waiting for me to report back to them as they cannot help.
I don't want to risk loosing several audio apps by up-grading to 10.3.9 so if anyone can offer any advise it would be most appreciated.
Thanks in advance.
