Hi,
I have a firewire device. When I unplug it, it takes about 7-8 seconds for MAC OSX 10.6.3 to understand that the device is gone, and removes it from the registry only after 7-8 seconds.
I have a problem with this because, I* am passing a SCSI command, called WarmBoot() to the device and that command replugs the device but it happens so fast, that it does not get redetected by MAC OS X.
Please help...
is there any way I can remove the device and replug programmatically? ie. Is there any method by which I can reset the firewire device through code?
Thanks,
