Fireworks problem

I am trying to copy something in Fireworks MX and I am getting a 'Could not complete your request. Fireworks is low in memory' error message. I tried restarting my iBook, but it didn't fix it. What is going on? I though OS X dynamically distributed memory to running applications....

Locate the .plist file (~Users/Library/Preferences) and delete it. If that doesn't work, update your prebindings and clean up your cache files using something like System Optimizer X 4.0. If that doesn't work, uninstall - restart - empty the trash - then reinstall the software. Zeal

Okay... strange enough it only happens when I do a select all by Apple+A
If I just select everything in the document by dragging, then it doesn't happen. I wonder if it is selecting something invisible that is causing the problem...
