firmware updates

I know this seems a silly pointless question so I'll apologize first.
I have a slot loading indigo IMac
Is it possible to revert to a previous firmware version currently 4.1.9
If so where would I find an appropriate file.
Apple seem to carry the latest releases only, or are they hidden in some obscure place?
