Fix color settings

I have a iMac G4. I just started noticing that the colors are incorrect. When I view a website or use a color in photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, ect. That is too light, the color does not show up at all. I have used color sync and nothing helps. What can I do?
I am a graphic designer and this is effecting my work.

Please help!

Try clicking on the Apple menu, clicking System Preferences, and clicking the Display pane. Then, click the Color tab. Make sure the "iMac" display profile is selected.

Also, make sure you're looking at your monitor at a 90 degree angle. That is, make sure you're looking at the display straight-on.
