My SanDisk Cruzer 512MB flash drive is causing problems.
Everything is fine until my iBook G4 (or my G4 mintower, which didn't used to have this problem) wakes from sleep with the flash drive mounted. I can work in any application or use Finder with other volumes, but as soon as I try to do something with the flash drive (eject it, open a file, close a window, empty trash, etc.), I get the spinning beach ball, and Finder becomes nonresponsive. Force-quitting and relaunching Finder doesn't work. I end up having to do a hard restart.
Disk Utility didn't find any problems. The Cruzer still has its original formatting (for PC, so I can share files with PCs).
Any ideas?
Thank you.
Rich
