flip laptop screen

I'd like to flip my ibook screen over (via software) so that it can be used to flip down from the roof of a car to watch movies. Any ideas?
 
I doubt the hardware has been tested for continuous upside down use.

Buy an external display (one made to mounted in a car) and use the laptop as a video source.
 
There's a program that was developed at Mac Hack called Mac Murrett's Apple Turnover. It does essentially what you are asking about. The program isn't available for download, but it did win at Mac Hack and they put most of the programs, as well as the source code, onto a cd that you can purchase for $19.95 plus shipping.
