Folder shared by everyone?

Hi,

if there are several persons using the same computer running OS X, is there an easy way to make a shared folder between them to be put on everybodys desktop?
In win2k I would have made a folder and put it in the Desktop folder of the All Users group, right?
How do I accomplish this in OS X?

/Users/Shared

is exactly what you asked for.
On my machine I have AFP, FTP and SMB setup to point to this directory....so you can get anonymous access over the three major protocols to my box. It's really handy.
