Hi Forum,
I was using Font Book to peruse through fonts for a project. I was using Font Book because I had not yet resolved an issue with my main font manager's password to activate it. I realize that Font Book is not really a font manager, but my intent was to just browse my fonts until I found what I wanted and then deactivate the rest of them.
Somehow, I ended deleting some of the system fonts from Font Book in this process. In addition, there are still a bunch of extra fonts still loaded into Font Book that I don't want there. But, every time I try and do anything with Font Book my computer starts chugging and doesn't really work well. In fact, none of my programs are working well since the above incident.
What can I do? I've tried restarting in Safe Mode to empty the font cache, but that didn't really do much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
