Font Management under OSX

Does anybody know how to manage fonts in osx better than the built in fontmanager?
I read that suitcase works only under classic. What i really want to know is, if there is a "real" osx-tool to manage the fonts like ATM under os9?

would be nice if somebody could answer my question.

Yes, I use Suitcase 10.0 for OS X. It comes with FontBook too -- nifty.

It's active font feature does not work for every application (meaning apps that need certain fonts turn them on automatically) but it's getting there. Plus, all you need to do is create a font library of THOSE necessary fonts and keep them "active at startup" and then there is no problem.

Suitcase is nice. Better than ATM under OS 9. (And ... Suitcase 10 works in OS 9 too).
