Font Problems in OS X

hi guys, is anyone any good with the system fonts?

I installed a new font into font book the other day and then a few days later random text changed into this font.
For example, any emails send to me that has been typed changes into this font, thats in the os x mail app.
Also if i search in google or just go to some web sites, just random words are in this font.

Are you able to re-set the system fonts or something, ive installed loads of fonts before and not had this prob.

any help would be great

you can try re-installing your font by opening the fontbook.app -> Find your font with the error eg: arial -> select if -> file -> Remove font
