Forgot Admin Pass

I forgot my administrator password and I really don't want to reformat if I don't have to. Is there a way to "crack" it?

I do have a username that I can log into but it's not an admin account.

Use the Install DVD that came with your MBP. Insert and start from the DVD. Then under Utilities you can reset the Admin password.
