Formating my site for mobile devices

hello i was wondering of their are any applications to format my site for mobile devices.

Applications? None that I'm aware of.

It's easier to use semantic markup and separate the style from the content (XHTML/CSS) IMHO. It'll make your job easier in the long run, especially with the mobile side of things.
