Am still learning sql and php and need some help. In that i thought it would be easy to find a tutroial on how to upload and get an sql database working with php. however, it is not, and i can't get it to work. it works locally but not on my web server. this is the first time am trying to do this, so am not to sure on things. is there some help you can give me, like directions on what i should do in order to get it to work. like the server hosts names and stuff.
also any directions you can give on how to ftp using the macosx terminal. like what code i should be using to connect to my web server and once i am there what i should do.
