ftp question

My friend has FTP setup on his windows server, he connects using Flashfxp on port 21, I downloaded Cyberduck but whenever I try to connect on port 187 it times out but port 21 I get asked for my user details, I enter the details and I'm told their incorrect, I downloaded the trial of flashfxp on my parents PC and logged in no problem on port 187 with my user details.

Any ideas? :confused:
