I am trying to host my own ftp server on my computer using Pureftp 1.4.3 on OS 10.2.8. My computer is behind a router and thus i have ports 20 and 21 directed to my machine. I also have ports 40000-60000 directed to my machine for passive mode. I also enabled DMZ for my computer. However, when I try to test the ftp server by "ftp 0" in terminal it says: "Unable to start a standalone server: Address already in use". Anyone has any idea what causes this?
