Fun with monitors

Heheh, having fun with extra monitors. I am such a nerd...

"Link, I need an exit..."
hahah

Btw, does anyone else experience weird colors on the 2nd monitor? It may be just b/c its an older LCD (2001)?? Or maybe the PB?? Let me know, I have a new PB on order (fingers crossed, delivered sometime this week!! :D ), and plan on using this LCD with it.

I love the way Apple inherently designed the multiple monitor thing so that it is so customizable!! My programmer at work uses a dual monitor windoze and has to use 2nd party software for the different dual monitor functions.

(more annoyingly, his system alerts, which happen quite often, appear in the middle of the 2 monitors, right in the split between the bevels! haah! stupid windoze! :D )

If you're getting weird colours, just check that you've got all the plugs in securely. Colours can get muddled if the connection is a little off. Try jiggling the cable gently, all along its length, make sure there's no nasty kinks, etc.

interesting, now that i think about it, the cable was sort of twisted and knarled behind there, maybe that was it.

patiently awaiting the arrival of the new PB, hopefully the monitor isnt the problem...

Hooray for me on my 100th post!

Got my 'book on Friday. Awesome, can't say enough about it.

The KDS monitor works well with it, I think it was the cable that was causing the weird colors/performance.
