G3 B&W RAM Limit

Hello,

My G3 400 Blue and White has 4 RAM slots limited to 256MB each. Is there any known update/fix that allows these slots to accept 512MB RAM sticks? With RAM so cheap at Fry's I'd like to upgrade to 2GB of RAM if possible.

No, sorry, I don't think there is any way to make it accept 512 MB chips, because the motherboard isn't designed to handle it.
