g3 vs g4

ibook v powerbook.

assume i were to compare the 800 g3 ibook to the 800 g4 powerbook. what differences in performance might i notice?

i dont know a whole lot about them and i am shopping around.

i dont know, but i ran speed x on my ibook and my g4 and i got interesting results...

800mhz g3
640mb ram
30gb hd
32mb radeon 7500

g4
800mhz g4
896mb ram
40/60gb hds
32mb radeon 7500

the ibook got a faster score on one test and the g4 got a faster score on the other, so it makes me wonder... hmmm
