G4 and 300G HD

Hi,

I just bought a 300G Seagate HD and was trying to intall it in my old G4 (dual 500Mhz), but the Mac wont recognize the full 300G size... it shows 128G. Anybody knows what I'd need to do to get the full capacity?

Your answer is on the following site:

It says that the limit is 128Gigz, but you can hack it. Scroll all the way down to "Cautions" for more info.

Or, yu could just get a PCI ATA-133 controller. Check on that same Low End Mac site for vendors.
