G4 Rear Hard Drive Bracket

I wonder if anyone here has experience pulling the rear hard drive bracket out of the MDD 1.25
G4. There must be a trick because I found i could not budge the bracket at all. I found the
plastic tab would not pull very far away from the chassis. Can someone explain how the tab works?
 
Are you pulling out the bracket that already has a drive attached? Then the resisitance is the ribbon cable and the power cord to the drive.

If it is an empty bay, there is probably another catch that the tab hits.
