Alright, I started with Garageband and left it alone for awhile preferring to use Reason to create my sample (with some live music) oriented hip hop. I'm still using the classic version so the rewire thing is not working for me. So what I've been doing is exporting each sample as a song in Reason, and dragging it into Garageband because it's easier for me to lay vocals in Garageband than Cubase.
But I want to know...
1. How can I raise and lower the volume of the different imported tracks without using the Soundloop utiity to convert the files first? I really don't want to add another step to the process.
2. How can I create an "automated" mix that will remember where i drop elements in and out? I mean I know i can go and erase sections of the mix but what if I change my mind later?
