I have a new 13" white macbook. My last computer crashed and we were able to recover some of the harddrive, including my applications. Basically everything else has worked fine (Word, Powerpoint, iMovie, etc.) but when I click on garageband, I get a pop up that reads: "The instrument library is invalid. Garageband expects a valid instrument library folder in Library/Application Support/Garageband. Please choose a valid instrument library or quit and re-install Garageband".
Problem is, I don't have any of the original software. The original computer was a gift from my parents and they bought everything that came with it and set it up. Now, after that original computer broke and I have the transferred applications, I have nothing from the original purchase to reinstall garageband with.
Any suggestions would be great, I wanted to create something for an assignment due this week so anything helps! Thank you!!
