For the past few years I've been using an Airport Express Base Station (A1084) to get online on my iMac. Recently I'm having some trouble getting a PC to connect to the airport as well. The PC is running Windows XP and has no wireless card. I purchased a NetGear Wireless-N 300 USB adapter, but it can't get a strong connection. It hops from channel to channel "searching", connects for a few seconds, then hops around again.
Would it be better to get and install a wireless card for the PC?
I have iStumbler and tried switching to a less crowded channel with no luck. Both computers are less than 10 ft from the airport.
I have been able to connect with a netbook before..
Also I've called Netgear tech support, and they said its a problem with airport.
Any suggestions?
