ghostscript questions

I have a VectorWorks file that I want to "print" as a pdf. Doesn't do it like most other apps under X do. No print option for pdf appears.
so I found a eps2pdf conversion ut that uses Ghostscript.
VW will export a "eps".
Tried eps2pdf. Says I don't have GS installed, which is suppose to be part of the Panther install. I know I have to use Terminal to find it, but when I enter: /usr/local/bin/gs
I get back command not found or recognized, or something like that.
(Obviously I'm no Term wiz).

any help would be welcome.

Ghostscript isn't part of Panther. If you want to install Ghostscript, I suggest you follow the instructions to install TexShop and stop after you've installed GhostScript. Texshop uses Ghostscript and TeTex, but you only need Ghostscript, so once you install that you can stop.

Using the installer provided, you don't even need to go to the terminal.
