Has anyone had good audio results with gnomemeeting and Windows XP Netmeeting? I have used the GSM and speex codecs but both have problems. The GSM is very clippy (almost like talking into a fan) and speex cuts in and out every second or so. I don't have any video enabled.
I have used echo323 to test gnomemeeting and it sounds ok with both codecs. I can't get netmeeting to connect to echo323. I have also tried ohphone and openphone on the windows machine (from www.openh323.org) but they wouldn't connect to gnomemeeting.
Does anyone have any idea how I could make the audio better? Also, has anyone had any luck using openmcu with netmeeting and gnomemeeting? I would like to run the conference unit on the machine with broadband and connect via modem & internet with 2 machines (1 Mac OS X and 1 Windows).
Any ideas?
Here are my specs...

The winbox has
Windows XP Pro

GSM codec from www.gnomemeeting.org installed
