Hi
I've been trying to find information on how to go wireless, and I've sent the following info off to Belkin, Maplin, and SpeedTouch asking for help on what to buy - and that was a week ago. So far they appear not to be interested in selling to me - go figure.
In going wireless I have the following equipment (all G3s):
2 - iMac OS X 10.3.9
1 - iMac OS 9.1
1- iBook OS X 10.3.9 with Airport card
1 - Graphite Airport base station (not Express or Extreme)
1 - Belkin wireless USB adapter 802.11b
1 - USB modem that connects me to Virgin broadband
Questions:
1) Do I need to upgrade the iMac OS 9.1 to OS X to get on a wireless system?
2) What do I need to buy that will work with the above hodge podge, or should I junk the present router/Airport base station and start all over with something new? Like go all Belkin?
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
Kind regards
Jerry
