wicky
play thing
I suspect that this isn't the best place to ask this question, but just in case.
The task...
I am editing a site for somebody which has been set up in GoLive CS2.
He wants to use MM Contribute 3 to edit it.
He wants to be able to create new pages from templates within the site,
The problem...
It appears that the way GoLive & DreamWeaver (Contributes intended HTML editor) handle templates is very different (DW's templates are created inside the site and differentiated by the suffix .dwt, & GoLive creates templates in a folder outside of the main site).
The question...
Is there a way to set up template pages in GoLive so that they appear in Contribute, to be used to generate new pages? Or, can this only be done from DreamWeaver?
NB. I already know that all of the apps above are the work of the devil, so there's probably no need to point it out. Probably.
Cheers
