Good development environment?

Could you guys let me know about any good Development environments for Xdarwin, I'm using Gnome I don't know if that will make too big of a difference. I would just like something that will do C++ like PB does Obj-C and Java, where to compile you just click on an icon, stuff like that, there was a really nice one on scourceforge but it was only for pc well thanx in advance.
