Google SOAP API's: Who will be the first?

The excellent web searching site www.google.com has just opened its gates to accesing its 2 billion documents via SOAP calls. Check out http://api.google.com for details.

Who will be the first to come up with a cool AppleScript or AS/Studio snippet using it?

It has been done. Somebody has created an applescript to interact with it, I can't find the link right now though...

I can't get applescript to talk to the Google services. I get "stack trace" errors. I wonder if applescript's soap support doesn't include complex soap types.

Google is the one that Powers Yahoo... google.yahoo.com anywhoo...once again.. don't hate a service for the manufacurer...yahoo is great...EVEN if it is AOL...

Yahoo does use google, but I dont understand why you would want to use yahoo. Why not just use google? Yahoo is just a cluttered mess IMO.

Yeah, now Yahoo uses Google, but searching Yahoo's directory of sites is useless. If they've gone away from that, more power to them, but I just go straight to Google anymore. Or better yet, I use the Google toolbar on my windows machines.
