Graphic Converter issue

I love GC, but I have a minor gripe.
When I save a file in jpg and set the quality level I can see the size in the preview window.
After saving the file, its size is actually bigger, like WAY bigger than the previewd one.
Maybe it's just some preference or maybe a bug. Anyone else noticed it?

Are you saving the files as little thumbnails? The size estimate only works if you use the option "Save web-ready, without resource." Then each file only has the generic GC icon.

I thought about it. I just didn't think it could make such a difference. Better get back to my Mac and check it out...
