I have 2 windows computers and we play halflife alot between the two boxes. When i got this laptop I started to wonder wether or not halflife can be played on the mac. I've read posts about how porting halflife to mac got killed in '99. But someone was also sayin that if you copy the game folder over from your windows box, and apply the latest patch for it on the platform, it would work. But seeing as how there isn't a halflife for mac, there isn't a version to update to, so thats kind of out. Now the thing thats in my head is that OS X is unix based, isn't it? So is it conceivable that you could install the halflife unix version on your mac? I dunno, just tryin to get some more info
