Well i have a friend who has a G4 Quicksilver 733 with an 80gb hard drive in it and a 6gb hard drive in it...
i guess when they got it, the 80gb drive didnt work at all, so they took it out and ran off the 6gb hd, well being the snob i am with computers and fixing them i told them i would fix it
originally when the drive was connected it wouldnt boot at all i guess (i wasnt there for that)
anyways this is totally stumping me, i ran disk utility, partitioned it, ran norton disk utilities, tech tool and drive 10 to see if i could find any problems with the drive, and found nothing of importance
and installed jaguar, no problem... updated as well
installed, dreamweaver, fireworks, illustrator and quark fine,
whenever i try to install photoshop or indesign i got a problem with it, but they installed fine onto the other hd, so its not the installer... what it says is "cannot install because hard disk is full" or something to that extent
i am thinking there are bad blocks on the disk but i cant find any.... i have absolutely no clue what else i could do to fix this drive
any clues guys?
