Hello everyone,
I have an ibook with OSX and have recently purchased a email account from this site.
My question is, how can I get "mail", the default mail client in OSX, to download my emails from the mail server, and then purge the server so that I don't run out of room?
I can't seem to find any settings to do this. Right now, mail is configured to fetch my mail every 5 minutes, but when I go back to webmail.macosx.com and check my inbox, it shows all my messages.
I may also simply be confused, since up to this point I have only used internet email services, but not POP(3) type accounts....
Are my "mail" program and the POP server simply synced, and even though webmail.macosx.com shows the messages in my inbox, I am storing them locally on my macine?
Thanks in advance,
osxunix
