Hi everyone *waves* I'm new here....but I am hoping and praying someone can help me. I am trying to get Adobe Photoshop to work on my iMac G5 running Leopard. Its the older one, without the iSight camera built in. Anyway... awhile ago I had an olddddd version of photoshop installed and it was working wonderfully until one day I went to open it and it wouldn't open and kept crashing.

So I bought the newest version of Photoshop from school and just installed it. And it's doing the SAME thing. I open it and it crashes right away... Any idea why this might be happening or what I can do about it?

Thank you in advance for your help! It means the world to me.

Was Photoshop running as a native OS X app or was it launching Classic before you upgraded to Leopard? If it's the latter, be aware that Leopard dropped support for the Classic environment. You would either have to get a new version of Photoshop that is supported natively under OS X (and probably even under Leopard...I've heard of issues even with Photoshop CS2 in Leopard) or roll back to running Tiger instead of Leopard.
