Hello. Having a problem. Bear with me I am a windows user and I now use my husbands mac so I am like a fish out of water when it comes to any problems with a mac. My husbands mac which he bought in 2002 and is mac version 10.3.9 is now acting weird. He has never updated his computer since he bought it. So some websites he could not go to, youtube while looking premitive (kind of like when you go to a website in the "cached mode") he was able to play vidoes on it and whatnot.
Well helpful me decided that it was time to update his computer with the computer updates which I did yesterday. It updated the usual (imovie, Itunes, the software etc). After the installation the websites that he could not go on he now could but now with another problem.
If I put www.youtube.com in the address to go to the website, it doesn't even attempt to go. Just vanishes and I get the apple report bug problem message. I am not even allowed to go to the youtube website. Very weird.Speaking of vanishing, now when I go on some websites if I guess I come across a page that has too much information on it or whatnot it does the same thing just crashes the website where I have to start the safari all over again. Before the update install it never did that. I would have to make it force quit before it did it on its own.
This is really frustrating. I tried installing the safario 4.05 but apparently can't do it since this software appears to be too old. Is there anyway for me to uninstall the updates that I installed and get it back the way it was? or someway for me to fix this?
