[HELP] iBooks CD Drive is broken!!!!!!!

some one please help mee! there is this white plastic part (helps Drive slide in and out of comp) that came off (not broken...) is there any way that i can get it back in?
 
Is it a titanium iBook?
This happened to me with my clam shelled iBook, the white piece that is used (like a gear) to pull the CD tray back in broke, so if you're still under warenty (sp?) then you really should send it off to Apple. I sent mine off and it hasn't had any problems sine.

Well, that's all you really can do unless you have an backup-iBook. ;)
Otherwise you can send it into Apple, look for the nearest Apple store near you and bring it into them, or look for the nearest MadMac or CompUSA and see if they can do anything.

Here in Utah there is this string of stores called MadMac, I don't know if they have stores in other areas of the world...but they are the best at reparing Macs and they get it done in less than an hour...no matter what the problem. :)
