HELP - Mac os x 10.3.8 can not network to Windows XP

Hello,

I am a G5 Mac OS x 10.3.8 user. Have successfully networked my G3 and G5 but . . . I am trying to also network my G5 to my PC (Windows XP). The address the MAC (sharing) suggests I type in for the PC does not work.

I've tried everything but still neither machine sees eachother. Although I did get a SMB/CIFS Filesytem Authentication window on the Mac, but it seems to bring up my own mac. I was entering my mac username and password. Still baffled.

Also, make sure you have Windows Sharing enabled under System Prefs-->Sharing.
