ok i am going to buy myself a gift for my 16 birthday, and i thought that a GPU would do me better then any thing else...

now ive wanted dual monitors for awhile so i was thinking dual monitor card with at least 64 megs of ram... the ati 8500 is probably the best, but i want to make sure i dont acedentaly get the vga dvi card, could somebody show me a link to the ADC card so i can get that one... sense i have a adc monitor.

The retail boxed 8500 only comes in DVI/VGA options. If you want to buy a retail card with ADC, you should wait until the 9000 comes out. It will be ATI's first retail card for the MAC that comes with an ADC connector. Your only other option if you want a card right away, is to buy an EOM apple pulled card from someone on ebay. Personally I'd wait the month or two till the 9000 mac version is out, supposedly will be about $140-150 or so.

hmmm this is true, i did not think about if ati dint have an adc conector card.. the 9000 does not have the same anti aliasing effects as the 8500 but its cheeper and has a great improvement from the rage 128 i supose
