in french :

hello a tous !!!
a+
Claude

I believe that this Mac clone isn't supported even with the G3 upgrade for 10.2/10.3 even with the G3 upgrade. Officially, Apple doesn't support OS X on machines this old, and they also don't officially support installing OS X using CPU upgrades.

If possible, you might want to look at maybe upgrading to a G4 system, even if it's one of the 1st or 2nd generation G4 systems. Most of them are priced pretty cheap and will run OS X nicely with enough RAM and a supported video card for Quartz.

you put all the important info we need to help you in french. that makes it hard for us on this english typing site to help you. i see scsi info and xpostfacto but not what the issue is. before i give any ideas, i'd like the info in english so that my sugestons have a chance at being educated ones. that is all.

first off, we need to get os 9.1 installed. i don't think xpostfacto works on less then 9.1. to get there, you should be able to run the software update control panel and it should update for you. if that doesn't work, try this . this is what i used to install 9.2.2 on my powermac 7500 and 8600.
edit: just checked, it does, but it never hurts to get to 9.1 anyway.
but i think your major problem is scsi. os x is very very picky. if i tryed to do too much scsi ( in other words, if i had anything but the interal scsi) i could not get os x to run. try disconnecting your cdrw. also, you are on the low side of ram, but that shoud not stop the installer, which btw will take forever. it took over 2 hours to install 10.2 for me.
