Help ! New camera, no iPhoto ...

Hello,

This situation is ridiculous: I just received my Sony Cybershot DSC P-51, and I don't have iPhoto v1 nor v2 to import my pictures... Of course I could use the application Sony provides me with, but it looks crappy (it's an old OS9 utility...).

Hence, two questions:
1) Is there anywhere I can get iPhoto 1 ?
2) When is iPhoto 2 coming (on free download) ?
 
Couldn't you just use the "Image Capture" app included with the system to import your photos? It's a nifty little app that lets you select the exact photos you want to import and other options...

iPhoto 2 was supposed to be available tomorrow (Jan. 25), but it has been pushed back a week (along with the other iLife apps) to Jan. 31.

There are rumors that it's being pushed back to coincide with new iMac spec revisions so that it can come preloaded.
