This is my first post, so please be kind!
I think I have all the parts, but am lacking the know how
I run a 2003 AD server with Home Directories stored on it working great. OS X and Windows are authenticating and working as they should.
I would like to integrate an OS X server to control OS X computer management....basic system and user prefs for the lab machines, and keep the Home Directories on the AD Server.
I have an OS X server OD Master, but it is used for mail services, I can bind a computer to it, and add that computer to a computer list, and set Preferences. Sadly, these preferences seem to be bypassed completely when a user logs in.
What steps am I missing to make this work?
TIA,
Ken
