Help Please! MS Word Passwords

I have a few Word documents that are password protected. The problem is that I can't remember the passwords to them. Is there any way to open them, even if via password recovery programs? If so, what kind of programs or methods? Thank you!! BTW, I have Mac OS X 10.2.6 and am running Office X.

I remember a programm for cracking zip and word passwords. Unfortunately it's for windows only. But I don't think you consider such cracking-tools. They easily take days of trying. But they really work.
Btw, doesn't panthers new text-editor read word files as well? And did you try there? Maybe they overgo this protection?!
If not, just try any other editor. Who knows...

I know, I know!

I've tried to go around a password-protected Word document (ironically, a document full of other passwords), and all you end up with is mulch. Either try a password-cracking program on a Windows machine, or delete the file.
