I scanned a small abstract watercolor painted by my 6-year old granddaughter, saved it as a JPEG, and imported it for use as a background into a Quark template for a promotional postcard provided by a printer. Then I placed a textbox with an 8% red background on top of the imported JPEG. The textbox was about 5p less in length and width than the JPEG it was placed on top of. The textbox was centered over the imported JPEG, making the JPEG a 2p6 frame around the textbox.
But the JPEG doesn't print on my HP inkjet. ANd I can't get it to print to a Postscript file or distill to a PDF.
Anyone have any idea what I'm doing wrong?
