Help With Ibook(please Please)

i have a few questions that need to be awnsered...

first, i have a g3 ibook that has the logic board problem , black screen of 'death'. has anyone heard anything about fixing this without using a C clamp on it (like i am now).

also , if i decide to replace the logic board, could i buy a g4 one running a faster proccesser..as in would it fit?the shape seems to be the same but , just wondering.


if ANYONE could help me that'd be rad.

yeah my ibook is SUPPOSED to be covered...but that ended awhile ago.


i'm thinking about going to the apple store and maybe asking them very nicely? and mentioning all 4 times my lame ipod battery needed to be replaced(at my cost)...

lame.

the only way i can use my ibook is through and external.


all the other threads about this problem result in that.


how about the g4 board fitting?anyone know?
