Help with installing x11

I am a new mac user on Tiger. I've downloaded the x11 file from Apple website. however when I try to install it, i get such promt "You cannot install x11 on this volume, Newer Software already existis on your computer."

I've also check the application list, but it was not there was well...

Please help. Thanks

The download is for an old version of OSX you need to install X11 from the media you got with your present OS.

Here's a hint for you that I didnt pick up on untill someone told me. Insert your OSX DVD, and when it mounts, and the little window pops up, scroll down, and find the additoinal software installer. When you run this, it will give you optiosn to install additional fonts, print drivers, etc. Click "Applications", and you will find X11 in the list.
