All I want to do is share an external firewire drive on a network of 3 Mac OSX Panther computers. I've got file sharing and appletalk on. The other two Macs can connect but after login when it shows available volumes to connect to, it lists all 3 computers instead of the disk drives on the computer that you just connected to. I've tried putting an alias of the external drive in the public folder but when one of the other computers tries to double click on it, it says that the volume can't be found. I know I must be missing something extremely simple. Is there someplace that I have to specify which volumes/drives are shared?
