Okay I am in no way a tech-savvy person, I really do not understand most of the technical phrases or terms. In short, I need Syslogs for Dummies.
So I checked on my Airport Utility and went to Logs and Statistics since I realized I've never really checked it out before, and I noticed that there were several scattered '1's indicating that the Syslog Level was on 'Alert'. So I freaked out because the Client number (I think that's what it's called) kept on coming up with the alert and stated this: "WPA handshake failed with STA (client number) likely due to bad password from client" and whoever this person is, they kept on trying to log in about 20 times within the past hour! Now I'm not even sure how they were able to find my network because I have it as a hidden network. So I changed my password, the alerts went away for about 15 minutes, and now they came back again.
So my question is, what the hell do you do when there's a Syslog 1 Alert?! I've been trying to find an answer, but good lord someone needs to explain this.
