I just sent my iPod in for repair. I should be getting it back about the same time that 10.2 comes out, if not later!!! That's not so exciting, but I was surprised by how nice the operator at Apple was (the call center is in Canada which may explain that), and the fact that the box was here the next day blew my mind. Whatever, I'm wasting time.
