I need to transform a number of imprecise historic maps (very large hi-res images) to true cartographic proportions. To do this I need to be able to 'shift' the streetcorners and other features from their historic inacurate positions to their actual exact positions, thus matching one hi-res image to another.
In MacOS 7 times, you could pull such a thing off using Morph (in lo-res alas)
Can anybody recommend a program or a Photoshop plugin that can do such a thing? Or maybe there is even a way to do such a thing by making clever use of standard tools?
I appreciate your response.
